Infographic: How 3rd party logistics are reshaping using technology

The reduction of current and future costs, the improvement of customer satisfaction, global expertise, risk reduction, and startup enablement, are key goals of the third party logistics industry (3PL). To achieve these goals, 3PL companies have been adopting different technologies to innovate in several areas, especially on the last mile, according to the 2016 20th Annual Third Party Logistics Study (sponsored by Penn State University, Capgemini Consulting, Penske Logistics, Korn Ferry International, and Industry Week).

The most current version of this study was answered by 267 key market players (40% 3PL providers, 48% users, 12% non-users). We provide you some insights that we’ve found interesting from the study.
